Event Description: BROOKLYN FINALLY HAS IT’S OWN NEW YEARS EVE BALL !!! NYE Brooklyn Ball LLC. introduces one of the most anticipated events, the inaugural New Years Eve Brooklyn Ball "Rise" celebration. Thousands of revelers will gather at the Aviator Sports and Events Center, located at 3159 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn NY, in Floyd Bennett Field. Revelers will witness special performances throughout the evening by legendary artists, while the first Brooklyn Ball rises into the sky. This event will be one that forever changes the face of Brooklyn’s New Year’s Eve for years to come. The mission of NYE Brooklyn Ball (NYEBB) is to raise the Brooklyn Ball with a purpose and promote the arts, culture, and diversity that Brooklyn has to offer the world. This inaugural year 2018, NYEBB will raise the Brooklyn Ball to promote all of Brooklyn's many diverse neighborhoods. The NYEBB team has an extensive background in Events, Promotions, Film Productions, and Marketing. Jay Hill who is the visionary behind this innovative event has built a solid team who shares a passion for Brooklyn and believes that Brooklyn is a brand as much as it is a borough. ABOUT THE BROOKLYN BALL Instead of the typical Ball Drop that most New Year’s Eve revelers are accustomed to experiencing, the Brooklyn Ball will rise for the countdown, ascending a flag pole 30 feet in the air. The Brooklyn Ball has been uniquely designed and fabricated, combining state of the art LED lights and custom LED panels, giving a diameter of 14 feet. As the last minute of 2017 counts down, the New Year’s Eve Brooklyn Ball will rise into 2018, illuminating the sky with the names of ALL of Brooklyn's Neighborhoods. This epic moment will highlight the phrase “Spread Love The Brooklyn Way!” ABOUT BROOKLYN Brooklyn has a whopping 2.6 Million residents, 70 different neighborhoods representing over 180 ethnicities from 130 countries and speaking 90 different languages. Brooklyn is a melting pot which houses the broadest spectrum of ethnicities, diversity of languages, historic experiences, cultural entertainment and world-renowned restaurants than any other borough. It is the birth place of many of today’s trailblazing Entertainers, Athletes, and Political figures from Jimmy Fallon & Jimmy Kimmel, Barbra Streisand, Clive Davis, Michael Jordan, Eddie Murphy, Jay-Z, and Bernie Sanders to name a few. THE NYE BROOKLYN BALL PLAN New Year’s Eve represents a new start and a new year. Our goal is not to compete with the Times Square ball drop. We are simply raising the bar as we 'Raise' the ball for the very first time in Brooklyn. Live streaming and televised broadcasting is available and will be ideal for Brooklynites traveling domestically or abroad to feel right at home. The event will kick-off at 7PM and close when the Ball reaches the top of the poll at 12AM. The stage is set 15 feet in front of the Brooklyn Ball. Two huge screens will be placed for everyone’s viewing pleasure, in addition to a Mobil LED truck. Heated tents will be provided for VIPs. The NYE Brooklyn Ball event aspires to have the same success as the popular and long running New Year’s Eve celebrations around the world. This event will create a platform to highlight the Neighborhoods, Brooklyn businesses, and City Officials. The attending audience (live and via streaming / broadcast) will get the opportunity to experience Brooklyn in all its glory. Everyone will be able to have their piece of Brooklyn. It is projected that the NYE Brooklyn Ball will be the highest-rated New Year's Eve on air broadcast in the United States via a major television network by 2020.
